THE FAITH BEHIND THE WORK
I'm trusting God will provide.
When I went into YWAM, I had sold everything I owned and had very little money - I was down to just one guitar and my clothes. I prayed Proverbs 3:5–6 back to God, and He provided my YWAM school fees, living expenses and outreach to India, even spending money.
I have no doubt He will continue to provide everything I need to share this music and testimony. That is the trust with which I’m stepping forward.
I have a wife and three children to support, and I make my living driving buses. I’m a “tentmaker” in this ministry, following Paul’s example of working to support his ministry - an approach I also followed in YWAM.
My work supports me and my family. My little shop helps with the costs of sharing life, the music and message. I’ve also taught myself to build websites, using time I might otherwise have spent watching television. Everything here is created at my desk, on my PC.
I’m stepping out in faith: doing what is possible for me, and trusting God to move and do what, to me, seems impossible. He has provided before. I have no doubt He will continue to provide.
